Seniors Go Bye Bye

So the seniors have 5 more days left of school and that is ridiculous! I wish ALL you seniors the best of luck in your future. I hope everything goes well, you find your passion, you start working towards doing something meaningful with your life, and you enjoy getting there. There are 5 of you I am going to miss SUPER bad and I hope you don’t forget me . {Side note inserted here: It seems like everyone keeps peacing. Why is everyone leaving? First Mr Mahoney peaced last year and now Ms Plete and Mr Berger and Mr Giordano and all the seniors are leaving…Where are y’all going?? I suppose that’ll be me next year, so I can’t talk, but gosh I HATE CHANGE!} Anyways, to you seniors -> you will be brilliant in the “real world”. I have lots of faith in all of you. Don’t stress out too much, you will be fine. Have loads of fun! Come back and visit! Don’t forget Hopkins..Learn as much as you can. Study once in a while admist all that fun. But still-have a blast! GOOD LUCK!!!

Questions Pour Toi

These are sweet questions that I recently got asked. They are cool to ponder. You may leave your own responses to them here if you wish. I’ll include my answers to them at the bottom. Enjoy. : )

1. If you only had 24 hours to live, what would you do?

2. If the whole world were listening, what would you say?

3. If you could ask God one question, what would you ask?

4. If you could be invisible for a day, what would you do and why?

5. If you could choose how you were going to die, what would you choose your death to be?

6. If you could hear what someone is thinking for a day, who would you choose?

7. If you could stop a bad habit that you have, what would you stop?

8. If you had 25-hour days (while everyone else continued to have 24-hour days), what would you do with the extra time?

1. Starting with mom and dad, tell all the significant people in my life exactly how I feel about them and give them all hugs.

2. Listen more than you speak. You can learn so much.

3. I’m not sure you are real. But if you are, why do you allow so much suffering?

4. Observe others when they are alone. To see if they cry behind closed doors. To see how many acts are put on in one day.

Life Through The Eyes Of A 4 Yr Old.

Tonight we had our annual Preschool Show and it was awesome! There was not enough room in the cafeteria to fit all the pride. We managed to get 14 kids to do our Naughty Monkey Play and sing the final “We Love Preschool” Song! (I also managed not to drop the mike, trip, or mess up the words!) I had the ever so desired job of keeping all the 4 years old quiet and content on the mat while all the other kids did their plays. Jessica* insisted on attempting to jump on the stage the entire time, so I spent 45 minutes rocking out with her on the side.(Mind you-it was over 100 degrees in there and she was leaned up against me = tough job) It’s always so interesting to see how the kids act in a different element- the outgoing ones become more clingy, the shy ones blast out the song….etc. Anyways, I was proud of all of them. To look out and see all the parents beaming was so sweet. Their kids could have gone up there and simply stood there and the parents would have acted like they won a grammy. Don’t you wish you were 4 again? Everything you did was priceless, precious, and “wonderful.”

I’ve learned that 4 year olds can teach us a lot about life. Here are my top 10 reasons why 4 year olds rock…

1. They have endless love for everyone around them.

2. They are naturally curious and want to know about EVERYTHING. My fav ques.- “What’s THAT mean?”

3. They live for the moment.

4. Their primary goal in life is to have fun.

5. They give you awesome hugs and smiles.

6. They see life as an exciting venue for them to discover and learn about.

7. They are incredibly honest.

8. They aren’t aware of all the suffering in the world. The world is flawless in their eyes.

9. They believe you when you tell them everything will be alright.

10. Every single one of them is incredibly unique and brings new sides of their personalities to the table every day.
